cleared the wireless settings and let it reconnect. Then it made a successful connection

test. Then I set up encryption and it continued to work.

I would suggest anybody getting those errors to try defaulting your router and starting over

as long as you're comfortable reconfiguring it. Then clear the wireless settings in the Wii

and see if it will connect successfully.

Recently set up a V3 model. Connected to the family PC and using Cox Cable for internet

access. Setting up router was a breeze. But initially had problems installing the Easylink

Advisor software that ships with router (needs lots of free hard drive space, and installer

wants to automatically download an update (roughly 200MB), but once it was up and running

everything was fine.

First attempt to log in the Wii to the router returned a 6-digit error (101342) because

WiiConnect24 was disabled. Second attempt with WC24 disabled worked perfectly. The

Easylink Advisor picked up the Wii and added it to the network automatically.

Wii is currently the only wireless connection so not sure how stable it'll be once I add other

wireless hardware to network.
