Router didn't work until I did what DUDE9023 mentioned for the D-Link 614+:

"The router did not work at first, but thankfully, I was able to make it work by changing the

TX rates. The router works perfectly. It has a decent enough connection from upstairs and in

the basement, with it being in the middle. I don't remember ever losing my connection.

(In case anyone doesn't know how to change that on this router, you type 192.168.0.1 in a

web browser, where you'd normally type a site address. It will ask you for a username and

password, which were by default set to admin and blank. Click on the "Advanced" tab on the

top, and then "Performance" on the left side. You should set Basic Rates and TX Rates to

1-2. When you press apply, and the router resets, you should be good to go.)".

When I changed the rates it worked like a charm!

Did your router work? It worked but I had to get pretty close.

Did you need to do anything else to get your router to work. I tried EVERYTHING for about

24 hours. I then edited the firewall settings to the ones it says on Nintendo's error place and

got really close to the router and it still didn't work. I got fed up then decided to pop in the

router's setup on my desktop, then while I was waiting I tried it again and it worked. Sorry to

say I don't know why it suddenly worked.
